About Me

A little about me...

I was born and raised in Aurora, IL.  Now, I am embracing my creativity and design intuition in Sarasota, FL. Traveling has been embedded in my life since before I can remember. There is so much I have come to cherish and respect from the Art and Cultures I have read about in books and many blessings have allowed me to be a part of many of them. Not to mention the extraordinary beauty of nature, mankind, and the unknown that the world has to offer. Renaissance Art most enlightens me. Due to its style characteristics of allegory & symbolism, but greatly because of its groundbreaking and dramatic technique, chiaroscuro. which broadens my range of design preferences. I work well with all design styles and appreciate each in their own way. In addition to, Art, Design, and Culture, I am a very proud Aunty to a Mini Golden-Doodle named Bella. I am a big movie fan and an avid reader. My favorite book genre currently is Historical Fiction, favorite book this year was Beneath A Scarlet Sky by Mark Sullivan. Audrey Hepburn is my Idol and I love old movies, however, I'm also an action, sci-fi, and Supernatural fan. From the great Stan Lee, "If you are interested in what you do, that keeps you going!".

A tiny history of my career...

Graduated top of my Interior Design class from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Art & Science in Interior Design including minors in Art History, Studio Art, & Entrepreneurship-Small Business Management. I was hired right out of college and within 2 years I was promoted from Project Designer to Project Manager. Then 2 years later promoted to Corporate Account Manager. I passed the NCIDQ Fall of 2013. An accomplishment I have reached for since I first determined I wanted to be an Interior Designer. I moved on to become an Interior Designer II for the Hospitality market. Rounding out my commercial design experience as Senior Interior Designer at a design firm dedicated to Senior Living as well as Hospitality, Multi-Family, Small Business, and Corporations. My journey has been filled to the brim with technical knowledge, trial and errors, great leadership and mentorship, and lastly a thirst for even more beauty and creativity.

Let's create something beautiful together!
